CRAFT CAMP ESTONIA 2022 FOLLOW -UP TOUR. To get an even wider insight into Estonian culture, crafts, people and heritage why not take an additional week to gain an insight into traditional men’s and women’s crafts, but with a modern twist and application.
Traditional lifestyle does not mean that you must live “like in a museum”. It means that while living a modern life you do not forget the simple way of making things, using common sense.
“ Folk Culture has four pillars, each of which needs to be cared for: DO it; LIVE it; KNOW it; (vitally important) SHARE it.”
Mari Lepik, PhD biology, the heritage-keeper of Sõrvemaa, author of Sõrvemaa ABC; mother of five.
